Effective date: September 14, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how DramaHub (“we”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use https://reelstorytv.com and related apps that share the same account system.
This is a U.S.-oriented streaming product. We do not sell personal information as that term is used in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
1. Who we are
DramaHub distributes licensed short dramas, including titles labeled AI-generated. Contact: support@localhost.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, password hash (if you use email sign-in), and identifiers from Google, X (Twitter), or Facebook (their user ID, and email/name if the provider shares them).
- Watching data: series, episode number, playback position in seconds, follow/library lists, and subscription / entitlement status so the website and apps stay in sync.
- Transactions: when web or store billing is enabled, payment tokens and product IDs from Stripe, Apple, or Google — not full card numbers on our servers.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, and approximate time of requests, used for security, fraud prevention, and debugging.
- Local storage: a session token, anonymous visitor id, and theme preference on your device.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure your account, including social sign-in;
- Stream episodes you are allowed to watch and restore continue-watching;
- Honor purchases and process deletions you request;
- Comply with law, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate product usage.
We do not use your viewing history to train foundation models.
4. Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Identity providers you choose (Google, X, Facebook) when you tap their button;
- Infrastructure vendors that host the API, database, and video CDN under contract;
- Payment processors and app stores when you buy a subscription;
- Advertising measurement partners (Meta, TikTok) when an ad Pixel ID is configured: hashed email, click/cookie identifiers, and events such as page view, watch, checkout, and purchase, so we can measure campaigns. We do not sell your personal information.
- Authorities when required by valid legal process.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary storage: an authentication token, visitor id, and UI theme. If Meta or TikTok pixels are enabled, those partners may set cookies such as _fbp to attribute ad clicks. Social login SDKs (Google, X, Facebook) may set their own cookies when you use those buttons. You can block cookies in your browser; the site may then be unable to keep you signed in or measure ads. 6. Children’s privacy (COPPA)
DramaHub is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, email support@localhost and we will delete the account.
7. Your choices and U.S. state privacy rights
You may delete your account from Account without contacting support (required for App Store / Google Play). After two confirmations we immediately wipe your email, name, password, and social-login IDs, and remove watch progress, follows, comments, and unlocks. The same email can register again as a new empty account. We keep order amounts and order IDs for tax, fraud, and chargebacks, without your name or email. Residual cleanup of backups and logs is completed within 30 days. Admin staff can see a hashed deletion receipt, not your plaintext account.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing.” We do not sell or share in that sense. You will not receive a different price solely for exercising these rights. Authorized agents may contact support@localhost with proof of authority.
Residents of other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws (for example Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas) may have similar rights to access, delete, or opt out of targeted advertising. Email support@localhost and we will respond as those laws require.
8. International visitors
If you access DramaHub from outside the United States, your information is processed in the U.S. By using the service you understand that U.S. law may apply. If you are in the EEA/UK, our legal bases include contract (providing the stream you request), legitimate interests (security), and consent (optional analytics or marketing, if we add them later).
9. Retention and security
We keep account and progress data while your account is open. Logs are kept for a limited period for security. We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and short-lived playback URLs. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
